vote obama

watching the video, you can clearly see his charisma and how he is such a decent and principled man. he still maintains the core values taught to him as a child.

he is well-read, logical, a leader and a great father. watching REAL families talk about their problems and listening to him outline his platform gives you this little spark that says "hey, maybe there is hope for the future."

kinda reminds me of jfk. and thinking of jfk brought to mind this postsecret card i saw a few weeks ago:

god, i hope not.

Uy maka Obama ka man? Haha, we've been following the campaigns for a few weeks now, watching the SNL skits, the debates, etc and McCain is really outshined, outdebated, and outcharisma-ed. Barrack is super super charismatic and he seems to be one of the most put-together, intelligent human in existence.

Playing devil's advocate though, aren't we (though we're not American voters) just being charmed by this guy? Can he really brave the pressure and politicking in Washington and come out as his own person and be the best US president in history? He's also against outsourcing labor so for economies like ours relying on US business it won't look good. But hey it's good for them and that's only fair.

I really really like him too though. :) And I hope he delivers what he's been saying these past weeks. :)

*happy dance*

you're absolutely right gene. the great thing about obama is he inspires people to hope and dream that something better can happen to their lives. i just wish the same thing will happen here in pinas because people are so jaded na.

change has happened in america and i hope and pray it will be for the better.

now i'm hearing talks of nostradamus' prediction/analysis that WW III will happen when a black president is seated in the US govt. *knock on wood*

a basta, i'm just happy that he won.
